Art Month Appoints Kate Britton As Artistic Director Of The 2018 Festival
Art Month Sydney will return in March 2018 and planning has started with the appointment…
7 NovPiermarq was founded by directors Rob Russell and Justin Callanan in 2012 as a direct response to the rationalisation of the traditional art gallery operation. In 2016 we moved to our current location in Paddington, the long standing heart of Sydney’s commercial gallery scene. 76 Paddington Street is a site synonymous with our artistic heritage, next door to the iconic Lucio’s Italian restaurant and down the street from the famed site of Rudy Komon Gallery.
The gallery exhibits works by emerging and established painters of varying cultural backgrounds and influences – including the finest works by Australian Indigenous artists. We strive to take the old, mix it with the new and provide a new kind of gallery experience.
Piermarq represents the studio work of Caleb Reid, Craig Handley, Geoffrey Dyer, Gene A’hern, Hayden Jackson, Maximilian Daniels, Naata Nungurrayi, Tommy Watson, Zhuang Hong Yi and Zoe Young. The gallery takes pride in maintaining close association with these and a host of leading contemporary painters.
