AUSTRALIAN CENTRE FOR PHOTOGRAPHY

The Australian Centre for Photography (ACP) is Australia’s leading organisation dedicated to the practice and understanding of photography and photo media. Our exhibition, education and community programs engage our diverse audiences and creative peers in a dynamic conversation about the role images play in our culture.

As one of the longest running contemporary art spaces, ACP has been a creative force in the cultural life of Australia for over 40 years. Head quartered in Sydney, we broker partnerships to present innovative programs, regionally, nationally and internationally. 

Our ACP Workshop is located in Darlinghurst at the National Art School on the corner of Forbes & Burton Streets, which is a vibrant hub of creativity and artistic practice.

The ACP is a not-for-profit organisation, assisted by the NSW Government through Arts NSW and City of Sydney’s Creative Spaces.
