A special collaboration between Barangaroo and Gondwana Choirs will be unveiled as part of Art Month Sydney.
This two-part project features an exhibition of artworks around the public spaces throughout the Reserve and retail areas of Barangaroo as well as a soundscape and a one-night-only choral performance in the Cutaway space. The artwork and projections are being created by acclaimed Australian artists Joan Ross, Tony Albert, Reko Rennie, Karen Black and Gemma Smith, whose artworks will respond to the themes in the songs the choir performs. The emerging composer Alice Chance has composed 6 songs which speak to the areas rich and diverse history and landscape.
