Trial Paintings: Life Narratives from the Supreme Court of QLD

In 2016, Julie Fragar began 'Life Narratives' at the Supreme Court of Queensland, a research project looking at those moments where public scrutiny wraps itself around a private life; what Fragar could call biographical coalescence. These trial paintings use painting to cut across time, space and perspectives to consider all-at-once some of the multi-facetted circumstances surrounding the trials.
