SHADOW

In SHADOW Strange transforms the familiar red-brick Australian home into a void etched out of the landscape. These houses retain their iconic shape, appearing as silhouettes of themselves in the suburbs. As in his previous works Strange investigates the home as a social and psychological construct, by rendering these familiar objects unfamiliar he asks us to reconsider our relationship to home.
