An Echo

In 1849 when Chopin died his heart was removed before burial in Paris upon his request. As the story goes, it was smuggled back to his native Poland by his sister, concealed under her coat. Sarah Mosca's new exhibition presents the observations of this journey traveling from the resting place of Chopin’s heart in Warsaw, Poland, through Russia to Lake Baikal.
