Landscape in a post-truth world

In this body of work, as in life, images are not all that they seem. Photos of vast horizons are actually doctored close ups of rusted objects found in the field. ‘Paintings’ are photographed: photographs painted over and manipulated digitally. The real world is transformed into gestural marks and slashes expressing the subjective distortions created whenever we attempt to represent landscape.
