Passed/PRESENT : Thea Weiss and Anna Russell

In a furiously changing world, how can we understand our past?

Roger Crawford, artist and teacher at the National Art School will open this exhibition, which asks ‘what does history mean?’ and ‘to what degree has it passed?’
The artists consider forms of forgetting and the neglected cultural knowledge resonant in our ancient landmass through paintings, prints, sketches and assemblages exploring losses and restorations in a connection to place.
